Yamaha CD-S303 CD Player

For this part of the build, the description on Crutchfield’s site cracked me up.

The Yamaha CD-S303 would be a great value if it only played compact discs, but you can also plug in a thumb drive full of high-res music files for added versatility. The player’s high-quality digital-to-analog converter reveals plenty of musical detail, and you can engage Pure Direct mode to ensure very low distortion.

You see, I’m just getting it for the ability to play CDs, so I’ll be extra happy if I ever have a thumb drive to play music from then! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป

What do you get in the box?

  • single-disc CD player
  • 58″ power cord (seriously, what’s up with specifically 58 inches?)
  • remote control (VES5910)
  • 2 “AA” batteries
  • 40″ stereo RAC cable (which I didn’t use, as I’d bought upgraded cables, for details navigate here)
  • owner’s manual
  • warranty info sheet
  • online product registration info
  • “worldwide representative offices” sheet
