Record Recon Seattle: Silver Platters “Bellevue”

Another record store review. This one is the second recon of mission 1 from this endeavor detailed a few months ago here, the first record store review for this mission – Vortex Records – is located here.

Silver Platters in Bellevue is a true haven for music aficionados. Stepping into this store, one is immediately struck by the vast collection of music spanning diverse genres. The heavy metal section, in particular, is a treasure trove for enthusiasts, with an array of both classic and contemporary titles in CD and LP formats. The store’s ambiance blends nostalgia with a contemporary vibe, making it a comfortable spot for both seasoned collectors and new explorers of the genre. For those passionate about music, especially heavy metal, Silver Platters in Bellevue is a destination worth the visit.

The trip to and from, with further detailed ramblings on the logistics from a bakfiets rider’s perspective, can be found here. The final list of albums I picked up on this recon mission can be found here.
