Some new Unleash the Archers, with the song “Ghost in the Mist”

Just released today. Ghost in the Mist by Unleash the Archers. Recently I’d also checked out Green & Glass, also worth your time for a quick spin with me.

This song starts off with a consistent progressively, almost thrash like groove, that leads into an anthemic verse, pre-chorus, and chorus that rise to the occasion. Bucking trends, and with some brutally harsh vocals not by Brittney Slayes, the post-chorus is laid out in spectacular brashness. I love it already at this point!

As the song twists along with a solid bass line and elated melodic and harmony parts paired on guitar the video shows behind the scenes and related footage of the band. With the expected chuckles and smiles form the band. The video just adds fun to an already excellent song.

As things roll on, we get the treat to a tasteful solo wedged between – get this – BREAKDOWNS! Yeah, that’s right. Don’t ever expect Unleash the Archers to just churn out some song following average form.
